IBPS RRB Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility details for IBPS RRB Officer Scale I & Office Assistant Recruitment have to be fulfilled at 3 stages –

Age-Based Eligibility

  • Minimum age of the candidate should not be less than 21 years.
  • Maximum age of the candidate should not be more than 40 years.
  • As per the govt. rules, there are some age relaxation to some of the reserved categories which are as follows:

Persons ordinarily domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period 1-1-80 to 31-12-89 5 years

Educational Qualification

Office Assistant
  • Graduation/Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
  • Working knowledge of Computer is required.
Officer Scale – I (Assistant Manager)
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent.
  • High preference will be given to the candidates having a degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics or Accountancy.
  • Knowledge of computer is must.

Language Proficiency Test

  • Proficiency in the local language as prescribed by the participating RRBs is mandatory.
